Born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, I graduated from one of the top private schools in the midwest, Taylor University, Upland, Indiana. It was there that I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. Deciding to try something new, I moved out west shorty thereafter where I started off working part-time in the Coeur D'alene School District as a Math Remediation Specialist.
I am currently employed as a behavior consultant at ACES Communiy Services at the Coeur D'alene location. Each child has a distinct plan of goals to accomplish over the span of typically a year (including but not limited to psychological, social and physical goals) that we work on together each week.
I also plan to jump start my private tutoring here and I'm so excited!
As an educator, I am an organized, flexible teacher who believes that education is meant to be fun, innovative and challenging and that schools are a community where the teachers and staff collaborate. My philosophy on education is fair, firm and consistent and I have high expecations for my students - I give my best and my students recipricate.
